music stalk - victim #10: oo by up dharma down

now this is stalking on a very personal level... i first heard of this band a few years ago through their first single, maybe... a cool mix of vocals and experiments really make their music so damn unique...

then last month, i got wind that they were gonna be in davao and will be having a gig at jack's ridge... "uh, ok, that's nice..." then, just yesterday, i remembered it all and asked my mum to call jack's ridge for further info...

so after dinner, me, me mum and little sister went up shrine hills and we saw piles upon piles of cars... "crap, we're never gonna see UDD... noooooooo!" turns out, those cars were for some other events... phew phew...

ticket = 150 with a drink of either iced tea or san mig... (i asked if GPS was also a choice... they said no...) i bought 3 tickets... to my surprise, there weren't a lot of people yet and so we got to pick any place... at first, we chose the very first row but i got us to move to the higher seats with a better view... (we'd end up very deaf in the first row... and there'd be a lot of people passing by in front of us if we were there...)

turns out, udd wouldn't be performing right away... there'd be a first act... (fast forward now in session...) soul society... cover band... bleh... only notable thing about them was the sax dude... emcees from mix fm... annoying and corny... prizes... little sis won a coke shirt... (but lost it eventually...)

i was getting edgy because i still had to go to work by 11pm and around 10pm, the band was nowhere in sight!

then... the udd guys were on stage and on their gear... the korg keyboard was being setup... sound check... then they bagan playing... (muting the annoying emcees in the process...)

then... armi walks in... man... that moment took my breath away... i was friggin starstrucked... she was so pristine and pretty and enigmatic and seriou and game on and bored-looking which i so heart... she used to be this kinda chubby, long-haired rock chick... her new clean, beautiful look was wonderful! the band's presence and the ambiance of their live music ringing in my ears wer so cool...

armi sang but the mic stand wasn't cooperative... some stage guys had to fix it and hold it for her while she sang... then, after a couple of songs, armi took a sip of water (i think) and began to speak and smile... she's that nice after all! weeeeeee!

they continued on with their set... playing sana, taya, hiwaga and everybody's favorite udd song, oo... here's a vid of the song shot by little sis...

i wasn't only impressed with their music but also with their equipments... carlos' experiment kit must've cost a lot! they also had this digital drum thingy... so cool...

then, armi asked the audience to come to the front and immediately, the people flocked, getting as near as they can to the band... me and my homies laid back... we could still see their heads from where we were sitting... (that would be impossible if i came near) and the band capped off the set with pag-agos, another one of my faves...

as for me, i was freakin late! it was already 1130pm... there would be an picture and autograph session at the coffee shop... we passed by it and saw that there weren't a lot of people yet... and so me and sis dashed right in... forget tardiness... udd was much more important... as we waited in line to get a pic with armi, the dude behind me asked he could have us take a pic of him with armi and just have it sent him by email... sure, how could we refuse? then, ean and paul came in... sis and i broke off the line to take a pic with them...

then, the armi line moved to the other side of the cafe and it was longer than before... we saw that the tall dude who asked for the pic was already with her! i called to my mum to take his pic... then, mum told us to join him and he agreed with a wave of his hand... and there we all were with armi...

after the pic was taken, i had this urge to shake her hands... her fingers were so long and white... she had this red nail polish on... i was suddenly afraid i might dirty her... lol... i just thanked her instead and she awarded us with a warm smile...

then me and dude exchanged names... his is jerson... and he gave me his email address... i noticed that his hands were shaking as he typed in his email on my phone... he also asked me if i had bought bipolar (udd's 2nd album)... i said i did not, although i did download that before but i didn't tell him that... then he said that he just downloaded... oh moment... lol...

then, we said goodbye, gave one last look at the busy band members signing and smiling and left the place...

i was already an hour late for work but it was definitely, definitely worth it... unforgettable...

it's that time of the year again... and i'm really trying to make myself more festive than ever... it's as if the older you get, the less you care about this Christmas thing... but i think this year, i'd be able to feel the spirit thingy... lots to give away... simbang gabi... booze... (looking forward to the booze...) i can't wait...

splinter - 1/5
synopsis: spikey thingys infect dogs and people and makes them go crazy and kill stuff...

the time traveler's wife - 3/5
synopsis: a dude who goes disappearing randomly and appears naked found his life's meaning with a then 6 year old girl...

octoberrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

i don't really have something worthwhile to share... (just populating the month, is all)... hmmm... updates, updates? just thinking about it makes me feel lazy already... i've already tried numerous times to keep a diary... i never get around to updating it...

then again, i've been a little uninsipired and unthinking lately... unfeeling and indifferent... most days are really so mundane... some of my friends or relatives ask me what's up... i always answer that it's the same as always... not really much to say... if i were to look at myself outside of myself, i'd really have to say that this life is quite boring... as i'm making this post, i'm just locked up in a dark room, listening to music and simply chillin and i really have this intent to stay like this for the entire day... i've been told to get out and get a life but i don't know... the urge never dawns on me...

i haven't been writing much lately as well... it's probably been more a year since i finished my last story or even made a small poem... i've got some ideas though swirling around in my head...

i don't know... i'm just simply ranting here...

synopsis: it's a freakin vampire war story! vampire nazis! immortal priests! gung-ho mercenaries! conniving bishops! canon toting policewoman! wire weaving butler! and of course the ever loveable Alucard... weeeeeeeee...
- i love the pacing of the manga... 11 volumes go by so fast because most of the chapters barely have any dialogue in them... then again, some of the chapter that do have dialogue have extraordinary blah blah...
- Alucard's cool and hot all at the same time, especially his Dracula mode look... hotness...
- even though the ending was kinda bland, overall, it's a really great manga...

synopsis: an fbi agent gets in a fix when his hot mom suddenly ends up dating a wanted thief...
- meg ryan is HOT here and very cute too...
- it's kinda weird when meg ryan and tom hanks' son are pairing up on this movie... good thing they're not the couple... that would've been weirder...

the chronicles of oil price... entry 13 - Php 42.30

thank goodness it's laying low for a while now... but the weird thing is, the 42.30 thing is available only at the shell station near davao memorial... so weird... all the other have 42.80... there's even one at the diversion road with 41 something... really so weird... i brought nissan last night and was low on gas... i saw the 42.30 price but drove passed the station thinking that the other stations have this price too... but they have 42.80! that's freaking 50 cents more! i ended up buying the 42.80 for 200... weh weh...

the happening - 1/5
synopsis: something's happening - a funky wind thingy's making people kill themselves...

august 22, 2009... what a day...

1. worked from 7am-3pm...
2. went to gaisano mall to buy a gift for mafe...
3. got mugged (shoulder to shoulder with the amount of people) right at the mall's entrance...
4. phone nearly got snatched (it was technically snatched (the old sandwich MO) but the kawatan dropped it when i managed to grab a hold of his arm... then, i whacked (girlishly, i'm afraid) the back of his head, jumped on the escalator and gave him the finger)...
5. met up with cherry (and tone and ken) and ate one of her donuts...
6. went home to rest before attending mafe's birthday party (ended up sleeping for about 30 minutes)...
7. got lost on the drive home to mafe's crib...
8. led the prayer for mafe's dinner...
9. ate, drank, chitchatted, sang at the party...
10. got a text from tone and cherry saying they're at bakbak...
11. said as much to mafe and her eyes bulged (most of her guest had already left and cris was a no-show)...
12. finally left mafe's crib (after much persuasion and guilt tripping with her father)...
13. hopped on to mafe's boylet's car (pretty nice car, by the way) and joined in on the late night city traffic...
14. caught up with the people at bakbak and drank...
15. went to evibe and danced and drank...
16. went back to mafe's place to pick up the pickup...
17. went home and watched a few games of federerVmurray cincy semis match (federer won... woot!!!)...
18. slept! whew!

- jennifer garner is still as cute as ever (she got a little skinny though...)

in bruges - 5/5 !!!
synopsis: 2 hitmen holes up in a "shithole" town in belgium but the "vacation" turns into some much more than they expected...
- weeeeeee... the first movie to hit the perfect score...
- it's so cute how colin farell is all whiny and suicidal and insulting in the movie... very impressive acting, i must say... no wonder he got the gloden globe for the role...
- i really really liked this movie... very well written and played out... must see...

Saturday, August 15, 2009

movies movies post #8

it's actually just 1 movie, though...

public enemies - 3/5
synopsis: john dillinger robs banks and the fbi people are out to get him...
- how i love johnny depp's swooning smirk...
- michael mann film = dizzy camera movement movie...
- the gunfights are really, really loud...
- it's funny how dillinger just swoop in places being the public enemy #1 and the people around just don't notice...
- channing tatum only having 1 tiny scene = boooooooooooooo!

roger roger #3

for the longest time already, i have this feeling that when i watch a live roger federer match, he'll lose... i said as much to my good friend who's also a roger fan and she told me to either not watch any of his matches or tell her that i'd be watching his matches so that she wouldn't blame me if he lost...

so... rogers cup 2009 at montreal... it's the quarterfinals and for the first time in history of the open era, all the top 8 players/seeds are in the quarters... i just got home from a sorta date with blue and the murrayVdavydenko match was still on... after nearly an hour, the match was finished (murray won) and the federerVtsonga match was getting under way around 3am...

tight first set that led to a tiebreak and then big guy tsonga dove on the hard hardcourt to get to a volley... he bangs his right arm and elbow to the ground and roger was poised to hit back the short ball but he friggin nets it! and so, tsongs wins the first set 7-6 (5)...

onto the second set... a rather burn out tsonga play poorly and even called for an injury timeout for his arm/elbow... roger takes no mercy and swiftly takes the second set 6-1... by then, i was resting my eyes every change of ends and rests and commercials...

third set and roger double breaks a weary tsonga... the score was 5-1 in favor for roger... i thought then, "ah, roger's gonna win this for sure" and i was already so sleepy and i wasn't watching properly... and then for some reason, tsonga is revived and managed to double break back... around this time, roger's serve was pretty lousy and tsonga was pulling all the stops with his aggressive play... of course by then, all my sleepiness was gone as i cheered roger on... then, suddenly, on roger's service game (5-6), he was down 3 match points... thank goodness, he forced errors off tsonga's racquet and saved all of them to take the game and let the set to be decided with a tiebreak... by then, roger's serve was really really bad enough to double fault to give tsonga the game-set-match... i turned off the tv right away so that i wouldn't see roger's disappointed face (i did see him take off his bandana in a sad way...)...

the match ended around 515am and i thought, shit, i should've just gone to bed right away when tsong took the first set (i was going to but i thought, what the heck, just finish the match...)...

dang i think i send bad juju to roger's game... maybe i should just watch if it's the championship match or something... oh well, there's still cincinnati and the us open... allez, roger! 6 in a row, baby! allez!

manga fruit taste test #2

kaikan phrase - 4/5
synopsis: hot rockstar guy + baby-faced songwriter girl = cliched but sexy couple... (sexy only because of the guy, sakuya...)
- it's amusing how the art changed (for the better, fortunately) over the years... (manga first started in 1997!)
- there's the standard you're-an-idol-so-i-don't-deserve-you, also the get-away-from-my-idol-bitch and also the i'm-not-really-beautiful-but-i've-all-these-guys-fighting-over-me-and-even-one-guy-raping-me-but-i-belong-only-to-sakuya... (too many dashes...)
- ah right, there's also the i-can't-get-enough-of-you-even-though-i-make-love-to-you-everyday... (i like the make love part though)...
- overall, even with all the cliches (i'm almost immune to cliches, anyway), it's a good enough manga...
- did i mention sakuya's hot? oh, i already did? you sure?

- mangaka: Shinjo Mayu
- genre: shoujo
- 17 volumes + 1 special

check out http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=327 for more info...

stop loss - 3/5
synopsis: a soldier wants out of the army but oops, no can do...
- i think channing tatum got a part in g.i. joe because he's so hot in a uniform as seen in this movie...
- the premise of the movie was pretty much thrown out the window at the ending AKA "why didn't you just do that in the first place?!" - silent scream to self...

the fall - 2/5
synopsis: injured guy and injured girl make up stories and cries about it in the hospital...
- lee pace was cute...
- the little girl was pretty cute, especially her accent...

music stalk - victim #4: fight the bad feeling by t-max

being a music and melody person (not so much on the lyrics), i could really appreciate songs i couldn't really understand...

this is from the boys over flowers show and one of the f4, woo bin, is part of the t-max boys (he doesn't sing much here, though... he's the rapper/talker here...)... and i really thought there was a girl singing here... turns out to be a boy with a really girly voice... amazing...

at first, i wasn't into this song but it got played over and over at the office and i ended up liking it...

elephant - 3/5
synopsis: camera follows all these kids around the campus and then 2 guys with guns arrive...
- i like the pacing of this movie... boring at first and then, you're at the edge of your seat...
- as soon as i saw the two boys with the battle gear, i instantly thought, "columbine"...

movies movies post #4

freaks - 1/5
synopsis: even circus freaks have crappy love lives too!
- way too old for my taste... (1932 film!)
- i could barely understand what they were saying (freak language only understood by freaks, i guess)...
- the film felt like a play to me instead of a movie... oh well...

angels and demons - 3/5
synopsis: the illuminati wants some payback by killing priests and blowing up the vatican and of course, tom hanks saves the day...
- i liked the da vinci code better...
- i got sleepy in the middle of the film...
- sorta predictable...
- ewan mcgregor is still cute as ever even as a priest... (too bad he's the... the... ufufu...)

manga fruit taste test #1

lovely complex - 4/5
synopsis: short guy + tall girl = funny cute couple...
- such a funny manga about simple and often complicated relationships and situations...
- the main couple weren't so lovey dovey but they have their moments... (it's so much more amusing to see them bickering especially about their heights anyway)...
- i didn't feel much of a resolution to the story but it's still all good...

- mangaka: Nakahara Aya
- genre: shoujo
- 17 volumes

roger roger #2

roger federer is now officially a daddy of not one, but two girls and twins at that! whoaweeee... no wonder mirka was really kind of bloated before... hehe... now the fans are abuzz that the federer sisters might dethrone the williams sisters... haha... we'll see in time...

welcome to the world, Myla Rose and Charlene Riva...

allez, roger clan!

ayachan = sportswoman... oh yeah...

wew... what a week...

wednesday - bowling
thursday - tennis
friday - tennis (almost badminton... first time i was "absent" from badminton)

my body is aching all over (due to tennis, mostly) but it's a nice feeling (especially during sleep and from sleep)...

music stalk - victim #2: claire de lune by claude debussy

in my previous post, i mentioned that i like the ending song of tokyo sonata... it was actually this song... i knew there was something familiar about it (i think it was played in nodame cantabile... debussy is mentioned quite a lot there)... it's really very beautiful (i've a soft spot for instrumental songs played by piano)... it's like the kind of music you fall in love with as you fall in love... beautiful, really...

oooh... flashing lights...

link of the clip in tokyo sonata with the song:

movies movies post #3

finished the last of my computer movies... here are my ratings...

tokyo sonata - 1.5
synopsis: an average japanese family gets all these heartbreaking stuff thrown at their faces and tries to cope somehow...
- it was just pitiful how so many things happened to them...
- i liked the ending song though...

umbrellas of cherbourg - 2/5
synopsis: singing guy and singing girl are so in love but then ugly war takes singing guy away and gives singing girl insecurities...
- the singing was quite annoying...
- the lead actress' decision was annoying...
- the plot was pretty predictable...

the chronicles of oil price... entry 7 - Php 39.30

i'm still sticking with my jeep-only-as-long-as-it's-not-raining-hard policy... and for tonight, it didn't rain and i was able to be "green"...

i left home around 10:15pm and hiked up to the jeep stop because the trisikads were scarce (at least, i was able to save 5 pesos)... then, just a few meters away from the jeep stop, i spotted an ulas jeep (a super rare jeep especially at night)... i ran after it because it's a semi-direct ride to the office (i'd have to hike again a bit but it's definitely better than taking the double, more expensive ride)... but i drove by me even after i waved my hand at it... dang it...

i took a toril jeep instead and when it drove by the shell station, i saw the mini-rollback on the gas... i smiled... freakin' 25 cents! oh well... at least that's something... better than going up, definitely... hope it won't go back up again any time soon... i'm still using dear nissan every now and then...

the chronicles of oil price... entry 6 - Php 39.55 (dated July 14, 2009 in my journal)

finally the long awaited rollback... still, you round it off and it's 40... hayz...

the chronicles of oil price... entry 5 - Php 40.55 (dated July 7, 2009 in my journal)

just last week, mum told me that there would be a piso rollback on the gas... i waited and waited... each time i'd drive, i'd glance at the shell station to look at the prices... it was still 40.05... then suddenly, today, it's 40.55! damn! good thing my cousins gassed nissan up... so i haven't paid for gas yet this week... probably tomorrow, i'd have to gas him up... i wouldn't want him choking on me again... hayz...

the chronicles of oil price... entry 4 - Php 40.05 (dated June 23, 2009 in my journal)

it really went there... i guess i'm only going to bring the car when i have the 3-11 shift... i guess i'm stuck with this expensive gas buying for 3 more weeks... hayz...

the chronicles of oil price... entry 3.1 - Php 39.00 CORRECTION! Php 39.05 (dated June 18, 2009 in my journal)

oops... it's actually 39.05... damn... and now ayasan is flashing the low gas lamp thingy... i might have to gas her up later or tomorrow morning... hayz...

the chronicles of oil price... entry 3 - Php 39.00 (dated June 16, 2009 in my journal)

omg... just piso to go... then again, i'm on the 3-11 shift... it's a little difficult taking a ride home late at night... damn... and my poor nissan's clutch got busted... drove it around yesterday with no clutch fluid... no wonder the stick was damn stiff... hayz...

the chronicles of oil price... entry 2 - Php 38.55 (dated June 12, 2009 in my journal)

damn... another increase... i guess i'm really on my way to riding jeep to work... and i just gassed up nissan just this afternoon... good thing i used ayasan yesterday... i've only spent 200 for nissan's gas this week... still, by the looks of things, it's not gonna decrease anytime soon... hayz...

the chronicles of oil price... entry 1 - Php 38.05 (dated June 09, 2009 in my journal)

unleaded gasoline at Shell is now at Php 38.05... DAMN! that's the 2nd increase in barely 2 weeks... DAMN! i had to let alex off my ecoland route and go with the shorter matina route... DAMN! the time when the gasoline was at 29 feels like a dream... DAMN! when the gas reaches 40, i'ma take the cleaner way of transportation... Php 38.05 is by far the most expensive charge of gas since i've started paying for my own gas for my pickup... 29 was the lowest... hahayz... those were the days... from now on, i will start chronicling the increasing in unleaded gas... hope the next entry will feature a lower price from the current one... crosses fingers!

poem poem de sara poem #2 - ID

a little weird but kinda makes me proud all the same is that this one actually got published in Banaag Diwa, the emo book of Ateneo de Davao University College Department...

my first published poem...

makes me smile...

(ok... the intro was a complete ripoff from my mulitply blog... i'm sleepy already!)

ID

love is torpid
but a breakup is rapid
we're a broken bicuspid
my ego against your id
had to close the lid
i'm just a kid
sorry for being so torrid
i know i did
something incredibly stupid
you've gone frigid
you've gone rigid
the feelings you hid
plot them on the grid
i have to be candid
without you, i'm lighter by a quid
on a day so humid
it's loneliness i must rid
it's goodbye i bid
gotta go look for cupid

roger roger #1

phew... just finished watching the 2004 australian open championship match between roger federer and marat safin... RF wins 7-6(3), 6-4, 6-2...

now for the stats and facts about this match:
- federer owned safin... yes, that's a fact...
- 2nd grand slam for RF...
- RF becomes number 1 in the world for the first time after winning (or even losing, if he ever did) this match...
- safin breaks 2 racquets and gets a racquest abuse violation after totaling the second...
- 2nd AO finals loss for safin...

some quotes from the match:

"you know, federer, when he was a kid, he used to hurl racquets like there was no tomorrow. he's so different now as a top player in the world." - commentator 1
"now he induces hurling." - commentator 2

"come on, safin. you can do it." - female spectator
"i'm trying. I'M TRYING!" - safin

come 2005 (the birthyear of my interest in the sport), safin bitch-slapped-revenge-style federer in a 5 setter semi-final 7-5, 4-6, 7-5, 6-7(6), 7-9... then, i tuned in to the tv set and watched safin's match against lleyton hewitt... finally, safin wins the slam (his 2nd) and became my first tennis idol... (had i watched the 2004 final first, federer would've have been my first idol... regardless, he's my idol now...)

on a sad note, safin's retiring this year... he really hasn't lived up to his 2004 win and hasn't won that much with the injuries and all (i barely get to see him play anymore)... but he'll always be dear to me (not just because he's hot)... i'll surely miss his racquet hurling and intense energy/temper... i hope i'd get to see him play in the US Open series... hmmm... maybe i'll go watch his US Open win against pete sampras... hmmm...

(isn't this post supposed to be about roger?)...

movies movies post #2

just 2 movies to rate today...

ardor/milae - 3/5
synopsis: if your husband cheats on you, you cheat back at him with another cheater... (too many cheating...)
- for some reason, the doctor fellow looked like hayden kho and the doctor fellow is a playboy who screws around... imagine that... 2 doctors... 2 jerkoffs...
- yun-jin kim's character is sooo pathetic here and treated so unjustfully so much so that it ruined the movie for me... so much for female (adulteress) empowerment...

the dreamers - 3/5
synopsis: a young, american lad gets entangled with a really queer french brother and sister...
- one acronym: OMG
- another acronym: WTF
- bottomline: full frontal - the ultimate frontier

mondaYAY!!!

just woke up and for some reason, the time on my watch has lagged... the time on it is still 12:45am... i hope it's ok... i'm going to adjust it back after posting this...

my middle sister has gone back to her mountains and i wasn't able to say goodbye (she left around lunchtime and i was still asleep)... i was in a sleepy/blank/empty mood yesterday so i wasn't really able to "hang out" that much with her... (us family did to go church and went to sm)... i'm really not the lovable/approachable sister type and bong tend to be too loving sometimes... makes me think that i should behave better with her next time since she's not always here and she misses a lot of things... i should treat her to something next time (all she wants is mcburger and mcfloat, which she already had yesterday)... then again, i did let her touch me and kiss me without so much a glare or a swat (i'm not a touchy/feely person - case to case basis only)... ufufu...

well, while i wait for my duty time at the office, i'm going to watch more movies... i hope i can find the subtitles of the remainder of the movies left in my computer... i haven't got around to watching them because their subtitles or lack thereof suck... i hope i can find some good ones... it hurts my heart to just delete a movie without watching it just because i couldn't find the subs...

sunday/monday sign-off

my download has finished... transparent things is still playing... it's almost 4am and it's past my bedtime (not really that sleepy yet, but should sleep now because might have to wake up around lunchtime... then again, will still take a peek at the tele before officially calling it a night/morning)... so ends my first run on this blog... i really hope i could maintain it and i really hope i'd get some feedback soon... as for now, so far, so good... and for now, goodnight, good morning... i will blog again another day... hopefully, tomorrow/later...

poem poem de sara poem #1 - EVERYONE’S IN LOVE EXCEPT ME

(as i wait for the download of the federer v. safin 2004 australian open championship match to finish, i'm going to sneak in a poem... eventually, this blog will be flooded with my poems... haha... enjoy...)

EVERYONE’S IN LOVE EXCEPT ME

everyone's in love -- my golly
everyone's in love -- oh, how happy
everyone's in love -- they'll all marry
everyone's in love -- they're all horny
everyone's in love -- beautiful baby
everyone's in love -- they're all looney

everyone's in love -- while I'm in misery
everyone's in love -- and I'm lonely
everyone's in love -- and I feel ugly
everyone's in love -- and I feel cranky
everyone's in love -- and I'm turning thirty
everyone's in love -- no, not really

because everyone's in love -- except me
no, I'm in love -- but not he
no, he's in love -- but not with me
everyone's loved -- except me

had another mini marathon going... i finished the latter half of paycheck... then, i watched perfume the story of a murderer... lastly, i watched fast and furious...

and here are my ratings... (i'm a very generous rater)...

paycheck - 2/5
synopsis: a guys invents something real bad (or good), forgets about it and has to remember it all over again...
- just another nyaaa, forgettable sci-fi/thriller film

perfume the story of a murderer - 4/5
synopsis: a french dude obessess on making the most perfect perfume... (hint: you absolutely cannot manufacture perfumes made from a man's scent...)
- especially liked the whole city doing the orgy thing, weird ending though

fast and furious - 3/5
synopsis: i shall vanquish the drug dealer and avenge my dead girlfriend by driving really fast and looking cool as i do...
- cools cars, ok-ok cars scenes, ok-ok film, paul walker is still hot, vin diesel is still pretty macho, cool cars

music stalk - victim #1: transparent things by fujiya and miyagi

just got this song... i've been searching for it all over and i've finally gotten it today... i first heard this off the indie rock station of yahoo launchcast and at first, i didn't like it that much (it's usually like that with me with some songs)... then, after a few listens, i kinda dig it...

i'm not really much of a lyrics person when it comes to songs... i'm all about the melody and the arrangement and the listen... and this song is a good, good listen... makes you dance, makes you sway your head... god, i love indie...

try a whiff of it and enjoy...

i look through transparent things and i feel okay...

oh yeah...

(currently playing it over and over and over right now)

(that's how i stalk and eat music)

i will maintain this blog... i will maintain this blog... i will maintain this blog...

i've had "blogs" before... (forced by society to conform)... 1 in friendster (flooded with poems) and another in multiply (flooded with poems and emo-ness)...

then, i was invited by workmate, shirgie, to join this blogging event held by the digital filipino club (hope i got the name right)... at first, i was hesitant... i told him that i didn't have a blog (i haven't blogged for over a year)... still, the idea of free food and casino play lured me to join... i left a comment on the site he gave me to serve as my invitation to the event and gave my multiply site to serve as my "blog"...

come july 18, 2009, at the grand regal hotel, i was given the microphone to introduce myself and my blog... i felt ashamed because i was introducing a dead blog after pigging out so much... then again, the shame only lasted a few seconds and it was replaced by a rather strong desire to try again with blogging... maybe at least the next time i get to join another blogging event like that, i could be proud of introducing my blog...

so here it is... i will really, really try to maintain this blog... as of know, i've got a lot of ideas to populate this blog... i hope i won't dry out in the long run... i also hope i'd get to have some readers or followers or at least some people to comment on my posts...

I WILL MAINTAIN THIS BLOG!
